Don't you just love guests who bring their own birthday cakes AND weed the garden

As hosts we did provide the birthday candles and the weeds. So we're not that bad.

Ring of Kerry

This weekend we got to drive the ring of Kerry , this drive is always a pleasure but the sunshine we had over the 2 days made it just perfect. We got to see Riverdance on Friday night in Killarney, watch the morning mist clear over the lakes, enjoyed a pub lunch in Waterville followed by a snooze on the beach. Our B&B had us up and on the road early on Sunday morning so we were able to make the most of the drive home taking in Valentia island on route. Recent Events

A couple of weeks ago we attended the wedding of J's nephew (yes, I'm getting old - I played an aunt role at a wedding). The ceremony and reception was held in The Tall Ship in Glasgow so it was different to any wedding I'd been to before. A great day was had by all and despite the frightened expression on the groom's face he played a blinder.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

J's sister realised her dream of being a cruise ship cabaret singer / entertainer......

He's a dedicated follower of fashion.....
