Bank Holidays, dontcha just love 'em!

What can be better than waking up on a monday morning knowing you don't have to get up for work? The fact that the sun is shining on a glorious day just caps it all off.

First up its out to the garden for breakfast Al Fresco. Nice cup of coffee and a Bagel to get the day off to the perfect start.


Now, what to do? Kay's always going on about Inchydonny Island so looks like we have a winner!

Fantastic place. If there's a better beach anywhere I've yet to see it.
Lovely walk around the beach then up to the Hotel for lunch (can you spot a theme here?)


On the way back we stop in Clonakilty for a wander around. No visit to here would be complete without paying homage at the statue of Michael Collins (the only real rebel to come out of the rebel county, and guess what? They shot him!)

Time to wend our weary way home to Blarney. A good day was had by all so roll on the next one.
