A quiet January

It's been a slow month in Blarney. We haven't done much in 2008 yet and I'm not sure if out of pure boredom Jamie got the razor to his face last weekend. This is my first time seeing him without hair on his face. While it's great to be kissed by a smooth face for a change I think I'll encourage him in his plan to leave the hair grow again.

New Year

He ain't heavy

He's my brother.........and brother in law and sister and niece and nephew and cousin and mother in law and son and daughter and mother and father.......



We had a fine party to welcome in 2008 which even had a press conference and I'd say there aren't too many people can boast they had a press conference in the middle of a family party!

Christmas

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. We had a quiet one in Blarney until the McGs arrived on Friday that is! Last night we had our Christmas dinner of turkey and ham. We had crackers filled with hats, jokes and prizes and what did we play with.........the wires that held the crackers together......

We're travelling to Limerick tomorrow to ring in the New Year with family which I'm looking forward to. Now I must get started on that resolution list.
