Cobh

The last of our visitors have been and gone and we had a lovely weekend despite the bad start with a 5 hour delay in getting here. On Sunday we took a spin out to Cobh and visited The Heritage Centre where we read about Emigration from Ireland during the famine amongst other things - a lot of reading but very interesting and well worth a visit if you ever find yourself in Cobh. After Cobh and a little bit of shopping in town we dined in Captain Americas where the boys put the balloon maker to the test asking him to make an animal shape - can anyone guess what they asked him to make?

It's a crocodile? A spiny dragon lizard? A triceratops blowing a bubble? An iguana? An ARMADILLO!

So, how good was this balloon man?

Personally, I think he was no more than a WIND-up merchant
